A number of people have emailed me some questions lately regarding my new artist album, so I thought I’d make the answers available to you all on the Blog. In no particular order, here are the questions and answers …
Are you still committed to delivering your album?
Yes, I am absolutely working really hard to make this dream a reality. I am working extremely hard to complete it. I really started to engage on the album early to mid way through last year. At that point I was pretty creative and did a great deal of writing. In fact, in a period of just a few months I wrote almost all of the raw material for the album. This is the same material that I’m refining and working into songs that will eventually become the album.
Have you decided what songs will be on your album?
For the most part, the answer is yes. As I said, all of the songs for the album have been written and are in a variety of states ranging from extremely raw to ready for mastering. When I sat down to write my first album it was extremely disjointed. I simply wrote a whole bunch of club tracks and eventually called them an album when I had enough.
When I set out to write Rubric I had more than a blue print of where I wanted to go. I had a very defined end point for the album and the basic framework that I laid out almost 2 years ago hasn’t changed at all. Obviously, the details needed to be filled in and a few things changed, but the overall framework is still the same. Continue Reading »

I’d like to wish everyone around the world a very safe and Happy New Year! Especially those in Australia, Japan, China, India, England and Ireland, to mention just a few, that have already celebrated the beginning of 2009. As we say good bye to 2008 I hope you’ll join me in welcoming 2009 with open arms and open mind. 2009 is going to be a GREAT year!
